MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Robert Morris used its height and length to defeat Point Park (79-29) in a Division I exhibition game at the UPMC Events Center on Friday night in Moon Township.
RMU held a 65-39 advantage on the glass and outshot the Pioneers 39.0%-to-18.8% in the game.
Amaya Richardson and
Sophia Moore led Point Park with five points apiece.
Elizabeth Boyd added four points and five rebounds.
Fatim Sarr Ndow recorded a team-high six rebounds for Point Park.
Dania McClain led RMU with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Layke Fields added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Point Park will return to regular season play on Saturday afternoon with a road game at Ursuline. Tip is set for 2 p.m. from Pepper Pike, Ohio.
