Women's Indoor Track & Field

Five Earn All-Region Honors from USTFCCCA

PITTSBURGH – Five members of the Point Park men's and women's indoor track & field teams earned All-Atlantic Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday afternoon, as announced by the selection committee.
 
The women's team was represented by Cassondra O'Connor in the 3000 meter and 5000 meter, while Dunya Van den Tooren was recognized in the high jump and pentathlon. On the men's side, Chase Bowen was honored for his time in the 800m, Akeem Mustapha was honored in the long jump, and Kamar Sutherland earned recognition in the 60 meter hurdles.
 
All-region honorees rank among the top five in the region in their respective events.
