CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Point Park men's and women's golf are set to compete in the University of Charleston Invitational from Wednesday through Thursday at the Berry Hills Country Club (men) and the Edgewood Country Club (women). The practice round for the invitational will be on Tuesday.
Point Park is coming off its opening meet of the 2026 season, in which Dharit Iemkanitchat recorded a top-10 finish. Iemkanitchat's weekend was highlighted by his two-under (70) finish on Thursday. Iemkanitchat totaled six birdies over the two days.
Junior Gabi Wait shot a collegiate-best 85 at the Vulcan Classic in the second round and led the women's team with her 57th-place finish over the meet. Joshua Topper shot +8 and tied for 41st place, Elie Ben Natan (+12) narrowly missed the top 50, placing 51st. Tegan Rucks (+18, t-69th) and Jack Dickinson (+20, t-75th) rounded out the PPU scorers at the event. Sophia Barkoot made her Pioneer debut, placing 84th.
The UC Invitational will be the penultimate meet in which Point Park's men's and women's teams will compete together, with the final one coming from Sept. 21-22 at West Chester.
