Kaitlyn Carr

Kaitlyn Carr is entering her third season on the Point Park women's basketball coaching staff in 2025-26. She was elevated to lead assistant women's basketball coach in 2024-25, after serving as graduate assistant in her first season with the program.

Carr came to Point Park in 2023 from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she was a student manager for the NCAA Division I women's basketball program for all four years of her undergrade studies, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Sport Management.

During her time at West Virginia, Carr was a vital asset to the Mountaineers as her duties included assisting coaches with practice and pre-game, rebounding for players, shooting, delivering passes to players and coaches, setting up and breaking down the court, and other duties asked by coaches and players. Carr was also involved in helping with office duties, such as mailing out marketing materials and delivering inter-office mail. Carr would travel with the team during its yearly Big 12 schedule.

Following her time at WVU, Carr began studying for her Master's of Education in Athletic Coaching and Administration at Point Park in August of 2023. As a graudate assistant, Carr's duties included assisting with scouting and game planning, as well as helping assist with travel accommodations, team equipment, and team meals.

Carr is a native to Pittsburgh and a graduate of Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pa., where she still resides.
