    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Point Park Head Women's Basketball Coach Taylor Fulton announced the addition of Dale McNeil to her coaching staff on Wednesday ahead of the 2026-27 season.

"I couldn't be more excited that the timing aligned for us to bring Dale to Point Park," said Fulton. "Dale is a true professional whose vision for developing the whole player aligns perfectly with the standard and culture we are building. His passion, energy, basketball IQ and poise have already made an impact on our program and allowed for a seamless transition.

"I feel incredibly fortunate to have him on our staff and look forward to the growth we will see in our players and program this season," Fulton added.

McNeil, a Pittsburgh native and standout guard at Woodland Hills High School, is the nephew of NBA All-Star and Pitt Hall of Famer Bill Knight. He arrives at Point Park with over 15 years of experience in coaching and player development spanning the NBA, WNBA and G-League, and he spent the past year as the Assistant Coach and Head of Player Development with the TBL's DMV Soldiers. In that role, McNeil led preparation, analysis and execution of team strategies as well as managing player minutes, in-game adjustments and scouting reports.

"I am thrilled to join the coaching staff at Point Park University," McNeil said. "I look forward to sharing my knowledge, helping our student-athletes reach their full potential, and supporting Coach Fulton during her inaugural season."

He spent almost three years as the Head Player Development Coach for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream from 2022 to 2024. With the Dream, McNeil directed and implemented various team concepts in addition to leading team scout preparation and scouting talent for upcoming drafts and trade deadlines.

McNeil earned a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Benedict College.
