Erik Ingram is entering his second year as Point Park's head women's lacrosse coach in 2025-26. He joined the program in 2024 and began recruiting Point Park's first roster in the sport.

Ingram arrived at Point Park from Geneva College, where he is no stranger to building a women's lacrosse program from scratch. In 2023, Ingram was hired as the first head women's lacrosse coach at Geneva, where he was tasked with building the program from scratch while focusing on recruiting the initial class that will help prepare the program for competition in the President's Athletic Conference in the spring of 2025.

Before he was hired at Geneva, Ingram served as the girls lacrosse assistant coach at Fox Chapel High School for six seasons, where he helped guide Fox Chapel to the playoffs all six seasons.

Ingram has also been an Ambassador for USA Lacrosse with their National High School Program, while also holding Level 1 Certification with the association. He is also a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Prior to switching to the women's side, Ingram served as the boys lacrosse coach at Fox Chapel. His tenure began in 2006 as he amassed over 200 career wins with the program.

He also was the head women's soccer coach for the Steel City Sparks, a women's semi-professional team.

Building a foundation for a program is something Ingram has experienced at multiple levels, as he also served as the assistant women's soccer coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 1997 to 2003, where he helped build a foundation during the first years of the newly-added program.

Ingram is a University of Pittsburgh graduate, with a bachelor's degree in Social Science. He also earned a Master's of Education from Slippery Rock University.

Ingram is a native to the Pittsburgh area, as he is a graduate of Plum Senior High School.

He currently resides in Fox Chapel with his wife, their son, and three dogs.
