PITTSBURGH – Glenville State limited Point Park to 32 percent from the floor and scored 17 points off turnovers in an 81-64 win on Thursday evening at CCAC.
Glenville State finished the game shooting just under 40 percent from the floor, but connected on 13 three-pointers in the win.
Point Park held a 58-37 advantage on the glass, which included 26 offensive rebounds.
Kaden Warner led the Pioneers with 16 points and four assists.
Nazareth Fisher finished the evening with 13 points and 19 rebounds.
Aidan Anderson also reached double-figures with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, while
Jags Jhawar had a big night with nine points and 16 rebounds.
Devin Collins came off the bench to score 17 points to go with four rebounds for Glenville State. Prince Mosengo added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Samier Kinsler also chipped in 13 points, eight of which coming at the foul line.
Point Park (1-2, 0-1 MEC) will return to action on Saturday against Penn State New Kensington. Tip is set for 3 p.m. at CCAC-Allegheny.
