PITTSBURGH – Point Park rolled to a 4-0 victory over Salem University on Wednesday evening at Highmark Stadium.
With the win, Point Park wraps up the season with a record of 3-10-5 overall and 1-9-4 in league play. The Pioneers did not earn a seed in the upcoming 8-team Mountain East Conference Women's Soccer Tournament, which will begin Sunday with quarterfinal action.
Lucy Grehan-Bradley put Point Park on the scoreboard in the ninth minute with an assist from Julia Schiffhauer. The Pioneers jumped ahead by a 2-0 score on a goal by
Maria Gomez in the 17
th minute.

Near the end of the first half,
Anna Comas Girones scored her first of two goals to send the Pioneers to the locker room with a commanding 3-0 advantage. Schiffhauer recorded her second assist of the day on the 44
th minute goal by Comas Girones.
Comas Girones netted her second goal of the evening in the 49
th minute to wrap up the scoring in the game.
Chloe Hollott-Lo recorded an assist on the goal.
Point Park held a 20-1 advantage in shots on goal on Wednesday evening, while also holding a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
Gillian Bierhals and
Frederieke Rijlaarsdam combined for the shutout victory in the Pioneer goal.
