ATHENS, W.Va. – Point Park shot just 31 percent from the floor in an 88-69 road loss to Concord on Wednesday evening in Mountain East Conference play at the Carter Center.
Rob Keys led the Pioneers with 18 points in the game.
Kaden Warner and
Aiden Miller also reached double-figures with 10 points apiece. Miller added a team-high 16 rebounds to record his second-consecutive double-double.
Aidan Anderson also chipped in eight points and six rebounds.
Point Park got 45 of its 69 points off the bench and also held a 49-43 rebounding edge.
Concord shot 46 percent (32-69) from the floor and made 12 of 23 attempts from behind the arc in the win.
The Mountain Lions had five double-figure scorers, led by Corey Boston with 18 points to go with five rebounds. Kollin Tolbert chipped in 17 points for Concord.
Point Park will return to non-conference play on Monday evening, hosting Penn State Fayette in a 7 p.m. matchup at CCAC. League play will continue on Wednesday, Dec. 11 when the Pioneers host West Virginia Wesleyan in a 3 p.m. matchup at CCAC.
