PITTSBURGH – Point Park had three double-figure attackers in its 3-1 senior day victory over Salem on Friday evening at the Student Center. After dropping the first set 25-23, Point Park took the final three sets by scores of 25-12, 25-19 and 25-13.
The win snaps Point Park's 14-match losing streak that dated back to Sept. 30.
Point Park hit .223 in the match with 49 kills and 22 errors on 121 total attacks. Point Park also held statistical advantages in aces (15-3), blocks (14-4), assists (47-33) and digs (54-43).
Senior
Alex Koontz led the Pioneers with 11 kills and 14 digs in the win.
Nicole Reasbeck also finished the evening with 11 kills, 11 assists, eight digs and six aces.
Avery Budrys Rini was the third Pioneer in double-figures with 10 kills, five blocks and four aces.
Setter
Marianna Oyola-Rivera passed out a team-high 27 assists and five aces.
Savannah Kitchen recorded a team-high eight blocks.
Salem got a team-high 13 kills and five digs from Valentina Poti. Katie Kennedy passed out 25 assists.

Lily Marchand, outside hitter
Alex Koontz, and outside and middle hitter
Marcella Erichsen.
Point Park wrapped up the season with a 4-23 record.
