PITTSBURGH – Martina Cardemil and
Laura Walberg scored two goals apiece to lead Point Park to an 11-0 victory over Salem on Wednesday evening during senior night at Highmark Stadium.
In total, the Pioneers had nine goal scorers in the game, as

Rebecca Pihlgren,
Paula Sole,
Anne Barbosa,
Eliya Adjo and Anna Comas each scored one goal apiece.
The Pioneers also recorded nine assists in the game, getting two apiece from Barbosa, Sole and
Analida Ampudia to lead the category.
Offensively, Point Park held a 19-2 advantage in on-target shots. The Pioneers also held a 2-0 advantage in corner kicks.
A trio of senior goalkeepers combined for a clean sheet on Wednesday, as
Maggie Pappas,
Charlotte Hosek and
Frederieke Rijlaarsdam each saw time in the PPU goal.
Prior to Wednesday's game, Point Park celebrated 14 seniors, including

Point Park wrapped up the regular season with an 8-6-4 overall record, including a 6-5-3 mark in conference play. Point Park is the No. 3 seed in next week's MEC Tournament, which begins Sunday against second-seeded Concord out of the south division. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Callaghan Stadium in Athens.
