PITTSBURGH – Davis & Elkins shot a blistering 60 percent from the floor and pulled away for an 84-57 victory over Point Park on Saturday afternoon at CCAC.
The Senators made 36 of their 60 field goals attempts and had 54 points in the paint in the win.
On the opposite end, Point Park shot 36 percent from the floor (21-59), including an 11-of-30 performance from behind the arc.
Kaden Warner led the Pioneers with 16 points, three rebounds and six assists.
Greg Williams also chipped in 13 points and six rebounds.
Grant Welch added nine points and eight rebounds, while
Keelen Allen dropped in six points.
Vegas Evans led Davis & Elkins with 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Matthew Gray added 15 points for the visitors. Nine Senators recorded points in the win.
Point Park will host Cedarville in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon at CCAC. Tip is set for 3 p.m.
