ALTOONA, Pa. – The Point Park men's golf team competed in the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational on Friday April 11 at the Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona.
Tharcisse Kalinda led the Pioneers, tying for third place at the invitational.
Kalinda, a senior from France, shot 73 on the day to finish the round +1, tying with Juniata's Harrison Levithan, Pitt-Greensburg's Ethan Rice, Catholic's Mario Ventresca, and Penn State Altoona's Luke Repko.
Alexis Lamantonge also competed in the invitational for the Pioneers finishing tied for 43
rd with a round of 82, +10 above par.
The final Pioneer to compete in the invitational was
Alex Zinz. Zinz shot +16 on the day finishing with a score of 88 to tie for 65
th place.
