PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational and Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet on Thursday and Friday, wrapping up the regular season portion of its 2025 schedule.
 
In men's events, The Pioneers were led by a pair of third-place finishes from Chevaughn Fletcher in the javelin (57.11m) and Maxwell Goode (6.85m) in the long jump. Fletcher's mark in the javelin ranks third in school history.
 
In the discus, David Attram turned in a mark of 40.95m, which ranks second in Point Park history. Ben Blahovec also turned in a top five finish in the javelin at 51.75m.
 
The Point Park women were led by Dunya Van den Torren with a fourth-place finish in the high jump (1.62m). Emma Roemer and Diamond Rush also put up top 10 finishes for the Pioneers on Friday. Roemer finished sixth in the 100m hurdles at 14.76, while Rush took 10^th in the 100m (12.33).
 
Additionally, Allison Plassio turned in the second-fastest time in school history in the 1500m at 4:41.50. She finished 13^th overall in the race.
