YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Emma Roemer and Jenna Manson broke school records to lead Point Park at the YSU Collegiate Invitational on Friday afternoon and evening.
 
Roemer turned in a time of 8.94 in the 60m hurdles to set a new school record, while Manson re-set her record in the weight throw with a mark of 13.58m. Manson originally set the record in December at the YSU Icebreaker event.
 
Roemer also finished 10^th in the long jump and 12^th in the 60m dash to round out her impressive day.
 
In the women's shot put, Gabeiella Wesney turned in a mark of 12.07m, which ranks second in school history behind teammate Alexis Heller.
 
Other top performances for the Pioneers included Cassondra O'Connor taking first in the 5000m (17:48.49), Mya Greschner taking second in the 400m (58.89), and Dunya Van den Tooren finishing third (1.67m) in the high jump. Zabine Von WesternHagen finished second behind O'Connor in the 5000m with a time of 19:32.77.
