PITTSBURGH – Charleston shot 58 percent from the floor and 52 percent from three in an 87-60 win over Point Park on Thursday evening at CCAC.
Charleston, who improved to 6-6 (3-4 MEC) on the season, also held a 43-26 rebounding edge and had four double-figures scorers in the win.
Point Park shot 36.7 percent from the floor (22-60), including just 8-of-33 from behind the arc.
Rob Keys came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points of the Pioneers, while
Greg Williams chipped in 12 points and five rebounds.
Kaden Warner finished with nine points and five assists, while
Grant Welch finished with eight points.
Hamilton Campbell finished the evening with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for UC. Thomas Hailey chipped in 17 points and five rebounds.
Point Park returns to the road for its next two contests, beginning Saturday at West Virginia State. Tip is slated for 4 p.m.
