CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Point Park women's basketball was bested by Charleston on Saturday night, falling 68-49 in MEC play at the Wehrle Innovation Center.
The Pioneers (6-16, 3-14 MEC) were led by two double-digit scorers with Alexis Giles and Camille Fultz scoring 15 and 14 points, respectively. Giles, playing in her 100th career game, also led the team in 3-pointers (3), free throws made (6), and assists (3). Giles played a team-high 37 minutes.
Lucia Hervia and Kamryn Pieper each tallied nine rebounds, tying for the team lead.
The Golden Eagles outshot Point Park 38.6%-to-27.3% in the win. UC also held a 48-40 rebounding advantage.
Charleston (16-8, 12-4 MEC) was led by Ksenija Mitric's 19 points and four assists, both team highs. Bridget Womber led the Golden Eagles with 13 rebounds on Saturday evening.

Point Park will play its penultimate home game of the 2025-26 campaign on Wednesday night when it hosts Fairmont State. Tipoff is slated for 5:30 at CCAC-Allegheny.
