ATHENS, W.Va. -- Point Park women's basketball fell to Concord on Saturday afternoon 71-56.
Junior forward Elizabeth Boyd recorded her third straight double-double, scoring 11 points and adding a game-high 14 rebounds. Boyd's rebound total is her second-best on the year, trailing only her 15-board effort on Wednesday night against Glenville State.
Boyd entered Saturday's contest with the fourth-most rebounds in the MEC at 8.7 per game. Boyd's double-double is her eighth on the year.
Boyd was one of four players for Point Park (6-14. 3-12 MEC) with over 10 points. Camille Fultz and Alexis Giles each scored a team-leading 12 points, and Kamryn Pieper scored 10. Pieper, the MEC leader in blocks per game (1.4) also led the team with three blocks.
The Pioneers shot 30.8% from the field, highlighted by their 42.9% shooting in the second quarter.
Concord (14-7, 9-4 MEC) hit at a 37.5% rate from the field and boasted three players in double-digit scoring. Abbie Smith recorded game highs with 24 points and four blocks to go with a team-high 12 rebounds.
