FROSTBURG, Md. – Point Park women's wrestling wrapped up its inaugural season on Saturday, competing at the Bobcat Open hosted by Frostburg State University.
Cailyn Casto led the Pioneers with a 2-2 finished to her day in the 160 bracket.
After receiving a first-round bye, Casto dropped her opener by fall against Kaylie Hall (unattached). She then picked up a forfeit win in round two, before defeating Liberty's Elizabeth Shoemaker by fall in the next round. She wrapped up her day by dropping a bout against Marymount's Jennifer Djobo.
In the 124 bracket,
Daniela Contin opened her day with a setback against Liberty's Aurora Pennington, before recovering to defeat Frostburg State's Dayanah Savoy by tech-fall (10-0). She finished 1-2 on the day.
At 138,
Elizabeth Watts started her day with a fall victory over Cadence Howard (unattached), before dropping two matches by fall in the later rounds.
