NORMAN, Ok. -- Point Park's Milo Thim was named to the NCAA Division II PING All-Atlantic Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced on Tuesday.
Thim, who was named MEC Freshman of the Year and All-MEC First Team, is the first Pioneer to receive the honor. He finished second overall at the MEC Championships in the fall, where he was named to the All-Tournament Team.
A native of Kungsbacka, Sweden, he shot a total +16 over the course of the season and tallied five top-four finishes. Thim's best work came at the UC Invitational in Charleston, W.Va., where he shot -5 and won the meet.
