PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's soccer tied 0-0 with D'Youville on Sunday at F.N.B. Stadium.

The Pioneers (0-1-1) bested the Saints (0-0-2) in shots, boasting a total of 12 to D'Youville's eight. Both teams recorded four shots on goal. Nine of Point Park's shots came in the final half.Â

Anthony Fusay continued his strong start for the 2026 season, posting four saves on the afternoon, including two in the first half. Fusay was matched by D'Youville's goalkeeper Matthew Solorio, who tallied four saves - three of which came in the second half.

The Pioneers thought they had broken the tie in the 59th minute when Alejandro Vega's shot took a deflection off of Gabriel Okita and went into the net, however the play was ruled to be offside, and the deadlock continued.Â

Gianfranco Arguello tied with Shawn Richardson of DU for a game-high three total shots. Arguello's closest attempt came in the 79th minute on a free kick where he just nearly missed the left side of the cage.Â

Joel Gomez tied with D'Youville's Alex Ward for the game high in shots on goal with two apiece. Nikolas Suarez and Gabriel Okita both recorded shots on goal for Point Park, with Guilherme Galvao registering two shots and both Hugo Ferreira and Sindri Hjaltested tallying shots.
