ROANOKE, W.Va. -- Point Park men's golf competed at the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Stonewall Resort. The team tied for 13th place, shooting a combined +88.

Dharit Iemkanitchat led the squad, tying for 30th place and shooting 10 over par. Iemkanitchat, who was named the Moe's Southwest Grill Men's Pioneer Athlete of the Month last Thursday tallied six birdies over the three rounds, three of which came on the final round.

Joshua Topper, Jack Dickinson, Elie Ben Natan and Tegan Rucks formed the rest of the Pioneers' team. Topper tied for 64th (+22), Dickinson placed 69th (+24), Ben Natan tied for 85th (+35) and Rucks finished in 95th position (+45). 

Point Park saw four golfers make their season debuts in Kaiden Kohler, Cameron Huff, Alex Zinz and Joe Duttine. The four golfers competed as independents. Kohler shot +12 on the day, tying for 36th place. He tallied three birdies in the back nine of the first round.

Huff tied for 61st place, shooting +21, Zinz shared 89th place shooting 39 over par, and Joe Duttine placed 92nd and shot +43.

Point Park men's and women's golf will compete together next week in the West Chester Battlefield Classic on Monday, Sept. 21, and Tuesday, Sept. 22, at The Links at Gettysburg.
