WHEELING, W.Va. – Point Park dropped a Mountain East Conference road match to Wheeling University on Friday evening at the Alma Grace McDonough Center, falling by scores of 25-10, 25-16 and 25-17.
Nicole Reasbeck led Point Park statistically with five kills, 10 digs and one ace.
Patricia Calero-Irizarry added four kills and three blocks.
Amiera Smith also tallied three total blocks.
Marianna Oyola-Rivera passed out nine assists to go with three kills, while
Mia Arndt led Point Park in the back row with 18 digs.
Brooke Bednarski also passed out eight assists.
Bella DeBarr recorded a match-high 11 kills for Wheeling in the win, while Camryn Matus added eight kills, six blocks and 10 assists. Mara McDougal tallied 13 digs.
Point Park returns to action on Tuesday evening at West Liberty. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
