Cameron Williams was named head men’s soccer coach at Point Park University on Feb. 2, 2022, and enters his fourth season leading the program this fall.

Williams has a record of 22-25-8 at Point Park, headlined by a 10-6-3 overall record during his second season in 2023. That season, the Pioneers advanced to the semifinals of the River States Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament.

In his first campaign in 2022, Williams led the Pioneers to a 6-9-4 record and earned a berth in the RSC Tournament quarterfinals.

Last fall, Point Park’s first season competing at the NCAA Division II level, Williams and the Pioneers capped the year with a record of 6-10-1.

During his tenure, Williams has coaches 14 all-conference selections at Point Park, including four first team picks – Philipp Harder (2022, 2023), Jaume Genovard (2023) and Jaime Rodriguez (2022).

Williams arrived at Point Park after serving as head men's soccer coach at NAIA Brescia (Ky.) University from 2019-2021.

Williams was named RSC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year in 2021 after leading the Bearcats to their best conference finish in the RSC. Brescia was 6-2-1 in RSC play to place second in the RSC regular season standings and earn an RSC Tournament semifinals berth.

The Brescia men's soccer program also achieved highly off the field during Williams' tenure as the recipient of the RSC Team of Character Award in 2020 and 2021. In addition, the Bearcats were an NAIA Scholar-Team during both seasons.

The RSC Team of Character award recognizes one men's and one women's team each year for its character and sportsmanship on the field, on campus, and in the community. A deserving team demonstrates the NAIA's core character values of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship. The Bearcats were selected following a vote of the RSC Awards Committee.

Williams led Brescia to 25 wins and two RSC Tournament semifinal appearances over three years from 2019-2021. After being hired in summer 2019, he led the Bearcats to a record of 7-11 (5-4 RSC) in his first season. That earned Brescia its first home playoff game, and a quarterfinal win over Asbury sent the Bearcats to the semifinals.

Prior to Brescia, Williams' college coaching career included time as a women's soccer assistant coach at Mobile (Ala.) and his alma mater La Grange (Ga.). While at Mobile, he assisted for a program that reached as high as No. 5 in the NAIA Top 25 national rankings.

During his playing career at La Grange, Williams was an all-conference selection in 2009 and 2010. He was also the La Grange Golden Boot award winner and Team MVP in 2010. He ranks in the Top 10 of school history in points and goals.

Williams holds a USSF "B" License and a Level 1 Goalkeeping Diploma. While at Brescia, Williams also served as Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director.

Williams earned his master's degree in teaching from La Grange in 2013. His bachelor's degree from La Grange in 2011 was in sociology with a minor in coaching.
