Point Park University

Tiana Lecker was named Assistant Sports Information Director at Point Park University in the summer of 2024.

In her role, Lecker is instrumental for Pioneer athletics in many ways from game day coverage, official scoring and broadcasting, as well as setup and event operations. She is also involved in the maintenance of PointParkSports.com and overseeing the athletic department social media channels and team accounts. Lecker is heavily involved in Point Park athletic's creative content serving as a photographer and videographer for events and team media days as well as handling a large part of the departments graphic design. She also serves as public address announcer for Point Park baseball and softball.

Lecker has been a part of Point Park athletics for seven years, which includes four years as a member of the Pioneer softball team, one year as an intern in athletics communication, and one year as a graduate assistant in athletics communication.

From April-August 2024, Lecker served as Interim Sports Information Director at Point Park, where she was instrumental in the department's acceptance into the NCAA Division II provisional membership process. 

At Point Park, Lecker majored in Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management for her bachelor's degree and recently graduated in April of 2024 with her Master's of Education in Athletics Coaching and Administration.
