HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- The Point Park University cross country teams competed Saturday at the American Mideast Conference Championship Meet hosted by Houghton College. The Pioneers placed 7th in the men's race and 9th in the women's race.

In the men's race, Point Park's effort was highlighted by top finisher Andrew Rowland, who as 26th with a time of 26:45. On the women's side, junior Sarah Austin set a Point Park, 5K record with her team-best time of 20:04.
