CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Point Park University was represented with two members named to the list of NAIA-Daktronics Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes for 2018. Senior Bradley Calleja and junior Carlos Polanco earned the honor for the Pioneers.
To be named, student-athletes must be a junior or senior with a career grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and be nominated by their institution.
Calleja, a graduate student from Sharpsville, Pa., owns a 3.80 GPA in the MBA program. He is working towards a master's degree after completing his undergraduate degree in accounting in just three years. Polanco, from Troy, Pa., has a 3.53 GPA in sports, arts and entertainment management for his first NAIA Scholar-Athlete honor for his career.
