LIVE SCORING I RD 1-2 PAIRINGS I BELTERRA GOLF COURSE

FLORENCE, Ind. -- Point Park University men's golf tees off on Monday at 8:30 a.m. for the River States Conference Men's Golf Championship from Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Ind. The 54-hole tournament begins with 36 holes on Monday and the final round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

The team champion and individual medalist will advance with automatic qualification to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship May 21-24 in Mesa, Ariz.

Point Park is paired with Ohio Christian University and University of Rio Grande for the first two rounds. The teams will be repaired based on the leaderboard for the final round. The initial pairings were based on the order of finish at the RSC Men's Golf Fall Preview in September. Point Park's players begin on holes No. 10-14 with the shotgun start.

Gage Basiletti leads the lineup as the Pioneers' No. 1 player. He's followed by Matt D'Amico, Justin Guzik, Nick Finoli and Rafael Perez. Alex Smith will compete as an individual. There are 11 teams and three individuals in the field. The Pioneers have three seniors and two sophomores in their lineup.

The Pioneers are seeking their first RSC title since 2017 when they won their fourth conference championship in five years. This is the first year the RSC Championship is being held at Belterra Golf Course, which was also the site of the RSC Men's Golf Fall Preview in September.

IU Kokomo is the pre-tournament favorite as the winner of the RSC fall preview. Brescia (Ky.) won the conference last year and was the runner-up in the fall. The Cougars and Bearcats are paired with WVU Tech going off of holes No. 1-4 on Monday. Asbury (Ky.), Midway (Ky.) and IU East begin play on holes No. 5-9 with Cincinnati Christian, Carlow and the three individuals behind Point Park's group of No. 15-18.
