DANIELS, W.Va. -- Point Park University men's golf is in 10th place after 18 holes Monday at the WVU Tech Golden Bear Classic being played at The Resort at Glade Springs. Play continues on Tuesday from West Virginia.

The Pioneers shot a team score of 345, which is a few shots out of being at the front of the second half of the team standings. There are 12 teams in the field with seven of them being from the River States Conference. Davis & Elkins shot an opening 304 to lead Concord by six shots through round one.

With 70 players in the tournament, Point Park had its top two players in a tie for 35th after 18 holes. Freshman Britton Bringhurst and sophomore Anthony Santilli both opened with an 85. Tyler Hillard was one shot back at 86 in a tie for 38th. Noah Marshalek (89) and Jacob Kubick (94) rounded out Point Park's five players.
