PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Come join Point Park Athletics on Thursday, August 15 at 1:00 pm in Village Park as we celebrate our acceptance in the NCAA and the Mountain East Conference.

It is a time to celebrate in Pittsburgh as Point Park University was accepted by the NCAA for Division II provisional membership back on July 11, 2024. Dr. Chris W. Brussalis, President of Point Park University, and Scott Swain, Vice President of Athletics, will be joined by Reid Amos, Commissioner of the Mountain East Conference, to celebrate Point Park's provisional membership in NCAA Division II. The Pioneers will begin play in the MEC in the fall! We are inviting all current athletes, former athletes, alums, family members, and friends to join us in Village Park in your Point Park gear as we celebrate this very exciting change for not only the university but the city of Pittsburgh!  We look forward to this new chapter in our school's history as we join the NCAA DII and the Mountain East Conference
