Final Results
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Point Park's Luke McKenna placed 17th to pace the Pioneers men's cross country team in Saturday's loaded field that raced in the Lock Haven Invitational.
McKenna re-set his own school record with a time of 25:18.8 in Saturday's 8k men's race. PPU's Elijah James was the second runner to cross the finish line for the Pioneers with a time of 26:30.9 (82nd place).
As a team, Point Park placed 11th out of 26 programs. The Pioneers were the fourth-highest Mountain East Conference program in the final standings, behind Davis & Elkins in first, West Virginia Wesleyan in eighth and West Liberty in 10th.
The Senators placed three runners in the top seven and four runners in the top 15 to take first place at the event. Findlay finishes second, followed by Walsh, Northwood, and Tiffin in the top five.
D&E's Jan Thewes finished first in the 8k race (24:10.5), followed by Findlay's Noah Fisher and Walsh's Mitchel Dunham in the top three.

The Pioneers will now prepare for the 23rd Annual Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the EP Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
