PITTSBURGH – The Point Park women's golf team was voted ninth in the 2024-25 Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon following a vote of the league's head coaches.
The 2024 season will be the first for Point Park women's golf as a member of the Mountain East Conference, as the University enters year one of the NCAA Division II membership process.
Last Spring, Point Park had two individuals compete at the River States Conference Championship, with Darien Lees turning in the top finish in 33rd place.
The 2024-25 season gets underway on Wednesday, September 18 as Point Park travels to the California (PA) Invitational at Cedarbrooke Golf Course. The MEC Women's Golf Championship is slated for Oct. 7-9 at The Resort at Glade Springs on the Cobb Course.
