PITTSBURGH- The Point Park men's soccer team returns home for a Wednesday afternoon matchup against Concord at Highmark Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 in Pittsburgh.

Storylines

• Following a 1-1 draw at West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon, Point Park sits at 5-5-1 overall and 5-3-1- in league play coming into Wednesday's matchup against the Mountain Lions.
• Against the Bobcats on Wednesday, Point Park's Ido Chalamish tied up the match in the 60^th minute with his third goal of the season. In the match, Point Park outshot West Virginia Wesleyan 14-11 and held a slight 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
• In last year's matchups against Concord, Point Park fell 2-1 in both contests. The Pioneers opened up MEC play for the first time ever against the Bobcats in Pittsburgh with Cheroky Briard erasing the shutout in the 89^th minute with his second goal of the 2024 season.
• In MEC standings, the Pioneers currently sit in fourth place through nine conference games. Point Park currently has 16 points with their 5-3-1 league record, trailing Davis & Elkins, Concord, and first-place Charleston.
• Captain Fridolin Gefrorer continues to lead the Pioneers as Gefrorer has recorded eight points on the season with a team leading four goals. Chalamish is right behind Gefrorer with seven points coming from three goals and one assist.
