PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's soccer team is back in action at Highmark Stadium this Wednesday as the Pioneers host West Liberty under the lights. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Storylines

• Point Park will come into the matchup with a 4-5 overall record and a 4-3 Mountain East Conference record. At home the Pioneers have remained perfect picking up wins against West Virginia Wesleyan and Frostburg State.
• Over the weekend the Pioneers hit the road for a nonconference matchup against Thomas More in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. In the matchup Point Park fell to the Saints 5-0 marking their second loss in a row after falling to Davis & Elkins 3-1 last Wednesday.
• Fridolin Gefrorer remains in the MEC top 10 for goals with three on the season in nine games. Gefrorer is also first in total points for the Pioneers with six followed by Ido Chalamish with five.
• In the Pioneers first matchup with the Hilltoppers back on Sept. 24, Point Park scored two late goals to beat West Liberty 2-0. In the 84^th minute, Joao Weber scored his first goal of the season off an assist Ido Chalamish before Azavier Coppin found the back on the net in the 89^th minute for his first of the season.
• Against West Liberty, Point Park held a 15-8 advantage in shots and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks. Gregorio Capponi went all 90 minutes in goal making three saves.
