ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Point Park men's wrestling team took 11
th place at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday in Alliance, Ohio.
The Pioneers had two wrestlers place at the event, led by
Liam Hein with a fifth-place finish at 149 pounds. Hein went 4-2 at the event with three wins by fall and one by decision. In the fifth-place match, Hein defeated Mount Union's Joey Kana by fall at the 3:46 mark of the second round.
Aiden Burford also went 4-2 at the event and placed seventh at 141 pounds. After losing his first bout by decision, he earned three straight wins by medical forfeit, major decision and decision. After dropped his next consolation, he moved on to the seven-place match and defeated Ohio Northern's Gabe Hansen by decision, 10-5.
Isaac Placencia went 2-2 on the day in the 165-pound bracket, while
Jacob Kehrer went 1-2 at 157 pounds.

The Pioneers will return to action next Sunday at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open. The event is hosted by Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio.
