PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's wrestling team will return to the mat on Sunday morning at the Ohio Collegiate Open hosted by Case Western Reserve University. The event will get underway at 10 a.m. Sunday from the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center in Cleveland.
The bracketed event will feature individual competition in each of the 10 weight classes.
Point Park competed at its first-ever event last weekend at the Mount Union Invitational. The Pioneers finished 11
th at the event and returned to Pittsburgh with two student-athletes earning placement at the event.
Liam Hein finished fifth in the 149-pound bracket, going 4-2 with three wins by fall at the event.
Aiden Burford also went 4-2 at the event and finished seventh in the 141-pound bracket.
Isaac Placencia went 2-2 at the event in the 165-bracket.
