PITTSBURGH – Point Park men's soccer will cap the regular season with a non-conference matchup against Salem on Wednesday evening at Highmark Stadium. The matchup is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Despite Point Park's loss to No. 2 Charleston on Monday afternoon, the Pioneers have clinched a home game in the upcoming MEC Men's Soccer Tournament. If Davis & Elkins defeats West Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday, Point Park will be the No. 4 seed and will host Frostburg State on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
If West Virginia Wesleyan defeats Davis & Elkins, Point Park will be the No. 3 seed and will host West Liberty on Sunday.
Storylines
- Point Park fell to Salem 1-0 back on Sept. 7 in its 2025 season opener. Salem's Abdul Kabbany scored the lone goal in the game to give the Tigers the 1-0 home win.
- Fridolin Gefrorer is leading the Pioneers in both goals (5) and points (12) this season. Ido Chalamish is second on the team in both categories with four goals and nine points.
- Giovanni Pezzi, Lorenzo Grispello and Cheroky Briard have two goals apiece for the Pioneers.
- The Pioneers have four players with two assists this season, including Gefrorer, Pezzi, Guy Lehrer and Lennard Schneider.
- Point Park has a 4-2-1 record at Highmark Stadium this fall.
