YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Point Park women's track and field team turned in seven Top 20 finishes on Saturday during day two of the Youngstown State University Collegiate Mid-Major.
Diamond Rush turned in the top individual performance of the day for Point Park with a 10
th place finish in the 200m (25.59). She also added a 16
th place finish in the 60m with a time of 8.05.
After a record-setting performance in the 500m on Friday,
Lotte Zethof returned to the track on Saturday and turned in two Top 20 results, including a 15
th place finish in the 800m (2:25.55) and a 19
th place finish in the mile (5:33.28).
Allison Plassio also finished with a time of 10:58.55 in the 3000m to finish in the 17
th position, while
Tanais Rojas recorded a PR with a time of 1:04.44 in the 400m. Rojas finished 19
th in the event.
Saturday's performance was capped by the 4x400 relay team's eighth place finish. The team of
Paige Marnell,
Paige McMahon,
Desilets Dubois and
Olivia Hare finished the relay with a time of 4:30.41.
Point Park will return to the track next Saturday at the Sykes & Saybock Challenge hosted by Penn State University in State College.
