Frostburg State got on the board in top of the second with an Olivia Stetler homer to right center scoring Hannah Binek. The Bobcats then added another run in the top of the sixth on a Gracie Nelson single that brought in Katie Healy making it 3-0.

Wahl helped the Pioneers avoid the shutout with her two-run home run to center field in the bottom of the sixth, bringing in Gianna Welsh and cutting Frostburg's lead down to one.

The Bobcats quickly got a run back to extend their lead as Arden Miller hit a solo home run to centerfield to make it 4-2 in favor of Frostburg State.

Jaylyn Mullenax went the distance in the circle going 7.0 innings giving up four earned runs on third hits while striking out 11 in the effort. Mullenax now sits at 7-7 on the season.

Alyssa Wahl led the Pioneers going 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored while Remington Koi and Mia Arndt each went 1-for-3 in the game.
