PITTSBURGH -- Point Park softball featured five players on the 2026 Academic All-District Team, the College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday. Mia Arndt, Emma Henry, Jana Hess, Kaylee Fabiano and Gia LaBrie all made the squad.

Arndt, who was named second team All-MEC, posted a GPA of 3.96 as an Education major. She led all qualified Pioneers in stolen bases (33), slugging (.513), on-base percentage (.395), home runs (6) and OPS (.908). Her home-run total tied for sixth in the conference, and she hit seven doubles and knocked in 14 RBIs from the leadoff spot in the lineup. Arndt started all 47 games this season for Point Park in center field.

Henry led qualified Pioneers with her .331 batting average. Henry finished second among qualified players in slugging at .500 and OPS at .864. She tied for second on the team with 22 RBIs. Henry recorded a 3.79 GPA as a Marketing & Sales major. Henry was also second on the team in innings pitched at 89.0.

Hess batted .282 on the season and tied for second on the team with 22 RBIs. Hess, a Business major with a 3.77 GPA, led all qualified Pioneers in fielding percentage at .996. She made only one error across her 265 chances at first base.

Fabiano posted a 3.64 GPA as a Criminal Justice major. Fabiano hit .232 on the season with a .325 on base percentage. Her 12 walks drawn ranked third-best on the team.

LaBrie posted a 3.87 GPA as an Education major. LaBrie tallied a .910 fielding percentage, playing the majority of her 45 games at third base. LaBrie scored 16 runs and accrued 23 total bases over the season.
