Point Park Wraps Up ECAC/IC4A Championships With Five More Top 10 Finishes on Sunday

FAIRFAX, Va. – The Point Park men's and women's track & field teams turned in five more top 10 finishes to wrap up day two at the ECAC/IC4A Championships hosted by George Mason University on Sunday.
 
Allison Plassio headlined the day by improving her previously set school record in the women's 3000m with a time of 10:27.66. She finished ninth in the event.
 
Diamond Rush also had an impressive performance in the 200m, turning in a time of 24.66 to take seventh in the event.
 
In men's events, Point Park was paced by a third-place finish by Kamar Sutherland, turning in a time of 14.58 in the 110m hurdles final on Sunday. He also finished 18th in the men's 400m hurdles later in the day to wrap up his 2025 campaign.
 
Additionally, the Pioneers men were impressive in the triple jump, with Collins Eze finishing fifth (14.15m) and Maxwell Goode taking eighth place (14.06m).
 
Over the two-day ECAC/IC4A event, all athletes that turned in top-8 finishes in individual events earned All-ECAC (women's) and All-IC4A (men's) postseason honors. The Pioneers finished the weekend with eight postseason honors from the national associations.

In the final team scoring at the event, the Point Park men finished in 12th place with 22.5 points. The Pioneer women finished 24th overall.
