PITTSBURGH – Four Point Park University baseball standouts earned American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Atlantic Region honors for 2025, the voting committee announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Point Park was represented on the first team by center fielder Jared Campbell, while second baseman Omar Morillo, shortstop Crixtian Taveras, and starting pitcher Javier Cardoso II were named to the second team.

Campbell, a senior from Sunrise, Fla., batted .385 with 19 home runs and 63 RBIs during the 2025 season. He had an .811 slugging percentage and 1.323 OPS as a senior. Campbell was also named the MEC Player of the Year, earned first team All-MEC as an outfielder, and was named the MEC Tournament MVP last week as Point Park won the MEC Tournament Championship in its first season as a member of the league.

Campbell was also honored as a third-team All-American by the NCBWA.

Morillo, a senior from Venezuela, hit .351 on the season with seven home runs, 13 doubles and 38 runs batted-in. Morillo had 74 hits, 51 runs scored and 15 stolen bases while slugging .521 during the 2025 season. He was named first team All-MEC as a second baseman this season.
 
Taveras, a senior from Long Beach, Calif., batted .352 with eight home and 49 RBIs in 2025. He also recorded 15 doubles, had 11 stolen bases and finished the year with a .574 slugging percentage. Taveras was named second team All-MEC as a shortstop this spring.

Cardoso, a senior and the ace of the Point Park pitching staff, finished the 2025 season with a 3.27 ERA and 10-3 record. As a senior, Cardoso recorded two complete games, one shutout and 53 strikeouts in 71.2 innings pitched. He allowed just 26 earned runs on the season and was a first-team All-MEC selection.
