CLEVELAND – Ninety-six Point Park student-athletes earned 2024-25 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards, the association announced today. For the 18
th year, the awards recognize the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level in NCAA championship sponsored sports.
"This year, our Pioneer student-athletes proved that you can succeed both in the classroom and on the field," Vice President of Athletics
Scott Swain said. "Our student-athletes work very hard in the classroom and the athletic realm and their recognition is well deserved. I am so proud of our Pioneer student-athletes for the championships they win and the high grades that they earn. Our student-athletes know that the ultimate goal is graduation. Point Park Athletics is about succeeding in the classroom and winning championships."
In 2024-25, a record 22,740 student-athletes were honored from 202 institutions. Historically, 190,136 total student-athletes have been recognized since the inception of the awards program.
The Mountain East Conference had 647 total honorees in 2024-25.

"This year, we are thrilled to recognize a record number of deserving individuals, reflecting the unprecedented dedication within our division - not only in athletics, but in the classroom as well. This year's record-breaking submissions for both individuals and schools serve as a testament to the Division II way. Thanks to the administrators that nominated these outstanding students, and much-deserved congratulations to our 22,000-plus recipients."
