BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Point Park was well-represented with 117 honorees earning Mountain East Conference academic honors for the fall 2025 semester.
The Point Park honorees include 81 selections on the Academic All-MEC team (3.70-4.0) and 36 honorees on the Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.25-3.69).
"In addition to our team GPA recognition yesterday, we are pleased to recognize these 117 individuals that embody what it means to be a student-athlete," said VP of Athletics
Scott Swain. "Not only did these student-athletes excel in the classroom this fall, but they succeeded while also competing in the championship season of their respective sports. We are proud that these Pioneer student-athletes represent us every day."
The selections include student-athletes from all MEC sports which competed for a championship in the fall semester: football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's golf, and women's volleyball.
MEC student-athletes qualified for the Academic All-MEC team by earning a 3.70 to 4.00 grade-point average during the fall semester. Student-athletes earning a GPA between 3.25 and 3.69 qualified for the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Overall, 1,323 MEC student-athletes earned recognition on either the Academic All-MEC team or Commissioner's Honor Roll.
