PITTSBURGH - Point Park women's basketball returns to CCAC-Allegheny on Wednesday night to face Glenville State. Opening tip is scheduled for 5:30.
Winners of three of their last four, the Pioneers (6-12, 3-10 MEC) were lifted by Elizabeth Boyd's double-double on Monday night against Davis & Elkins. Boyd, who scored 24 points with 10 rebounds, was one of three players for PPU to score 20 points on the evening, joining Camille Fultz (29) and Alexis Giles (20).
Glenville St. (16-3, 11-2 MEC) currently sits atop the MEC and enters on a four-game winning streak. The GSU Pioneers have won 13 of their last 14 games, including a win over Point Park on Jan. 3.
Point Park saw Fultz and Sophia Moore score 25 and 21 points respectively, in the aforementioned 110-98 loss to GSU. Fultz added eight rebounds in the contest, and Boyd came a rebound and an assist shy of a triple-double, scoring 10 points with nine boards and nine assists.

Camille Fultz leads Point Park in scoring, averaging 15 points per game, good for ninth in the MEC. Fultz scored 29 points in Monday night's game, the most by a Pioneer since PPU's transition to NCAA Division II. She has posted double figures in all but four contests this season, including in nine of her last 10 games. Fultz passed the 1,000-point scoring mark back on Dec. 3 against Wheeling.

Elizabeth Boyd is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game, which places her in fourth place in the MEC. She has six double-doubles and three 20-point scoring performances this season. Boyd posted a 24-point double-double Monday night.

Kamryn Pieper and Boyd both rank in the top four in the MEC in blocked shots. Pieper leads the conference at 1.4 per game, while Boyd ranks fourth at 1.2. Pieper has 24 blocks on the season, while Boyd has 21, highlighted by her four-block game vs Salem.

Alexis Giles has started 86 of her 97 career games and surpassed the 1,000-point mark back on Jan. 17. She now sits at 1,074 career points after her 20-point game on Monday. Additionally, Giles reached 1,000 total steals in her career on Monday night.

As a team, Point Park ranks second in the MEC in both blocked shots per game (4.39) and in rebounding (42.6).
