PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Frostburg State completed the sweep of Point Park on Sunday afternoon at Fairhaven Park, powered by 27 hits and 29 runs across the doubleheader.
GAME 1: Frostburg State 13, Point Park 1 (5 innings)
W: Donaldson (8-1) L: Johnson (4-6)
Frostburg State came out swinging, scoring five runs in the opening inning. Sage Haller drove in two runs, while Brianna Russo, Kylee Piconi, and Arden Miller each added RBIs to give the Bobcats an early 5–0 lead.
The Bobcats extended their advantage in the third inning. Russo led off with a walk and later scored on a Zoey Marinello single to left, making it 6–0.
Point Park got on the board in the bottom half of the third. Cam Mann doubled down the left field line and came around to score on a two-out RBI double by Gianna Welsh, cutting the deficit to 6–1.
Frostburg responded with a big fourth inning, plating six runs, highlighted by a two-run home run from Ally Myers. Myers added her second home run of the game in the fifth, accounting for the Bobcats' final run in a 13–1 victory.
Izabella Donaldson earned her eighth win of the season, pitching four innings while allowing one run on seven hits and striking out three. Myers pitched the final inning, allowing one hit and striking out one.
Ava Hubble was the best hitter for Point Park in the contest, going 2 for 2 at the plate with a double.
Julia Johnson took the loss for Point Park, pitching three innings and allowing nine runs on 12 hits. Hubble provided relief, throwing the final two innings.

GAME 2: Frostburg State 16, Point Park 2 (5 innings)
W: Dietrich (7-1) L: Henry (1-6)
Frostburg carried its momentum into game two, once again scoring five runs in the first inning to take immediate control.
The Bobcats continued to pour it on, adding six runs in the second and five more in the third to break the game open.
Point Park's offense broke through in the fifth inning. Mia Arndt doubled to left field, driving in Gia LaBrie and Kaylee Fabiano for the Pioneers' only runs of the game.
Izzy Dietrich earned her seventh win of the season, pitching four innings while allowing just one hit and striking out three. Gabby Encinas closed out the game, allowing two runs on one hit in one inning of work.
Emma Henry took the loss for Point Park, pitching 1.2 innings and allowing 11 runs on seven hits.
Point Park falls to 7–14 overall and 2–4 in Mountain East Conference play. With the sweep, Frostburg State improves to 18–4 overall and 6–2 in league play.
