LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Point Park track & field saw three new program records on Saturday during a split-squad weekend. Luke McKenna and Mya Greschner both set new program records at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic, and Jonah Schneider achieved a program record at the Westminster Invitational.

McKenna moved from second to first in Pioneer history in the 5,000m with his time of 14:56.76. McKenna improved on his previous personal record by 18 seconds.

Greschner reset her own program record in the long jump, going from 5.80 meters to 5.96 meters on Saturday. Greschner continued her stellar indoor season, in which she was MEC Indoor Champion in the 400m.

Jonah Schneider improved on his previous program-record mark in the discus by 1.65 meters. Schneider's record-setting toss of 44.47 meters in the discus was good for first place at the Westminster Invitational.

COMPETING AT BUCKNELL
Point Park saw success in both the men's and women's 1,500m, with Chase Bowen setting a time of 3:55.84 in the event, improving on his third-best time in Point Park history. Anna Babinyecz moved into fourth all time with her time of 4:43.26 in the event.Â

Aubrey Smith's time of 2:15.84 in the 800m is good for fourth place in program history.

Reigning MEC Men's and Women's Players of the Week Akeem Mustapha and Dunya Van den Tooren both had successful days in the long jump. Mustapha, who shattered Point Park's record in the long jump last week, finished second with his distance of 7.15 meters. Mustapha set an NCAA Provisional mark with his distance.Â

Van den Tooren moved into second place in the long jump with her distance of 5.70 meters - good for sixth in the event. Van den Tooren's previous best of 5.52 meters placed her third in Pioneers history. She also placed sixth in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.65 meters - 0.05 meters shy of her program record.Â

COMPETING AT WESTMINSTER
Jakob Platnik recorded a distance of 65.10 meters in the javelin on Saturday, good for first place and an NCAA Provisional mark. Platnik holds Point Park's program record in the javelin at 67.77 meters.Â

Point Park saw three entrants into the program's top five in the 3,000m steeplechase on Saturday. Albin Petschauer set the program's third-best time at 10:04.58 in a third-place finish. Daniel Sanchis finished fifth in the event, and his time of 10:06.54 is good for fourth in PPU history. Zabine Von Westernhagen recorded a time of 12:12.54 in her fifth-place finish. Von Westernhagen's time is fourth best in Point Park history.

Cyeanna Evelyn recorded the fourth-best distance in the hammer throw in Pioneer history. Evelyn's toss went 37.92 meters.Â

Alexis Heller tallied two top-10 finishes on Saturday, taking fifth place in the javelin (34.61 meters) and eighth place in the shot put (33.71 meters). Heller finished just above Gabriella Wesney, who notched a toss of 11.28 meters en route to a ninth-place finish.

Jacob Preston's time of 4:16.00 in the 1,500m was good for seventh place. Liam Surgenavic took eighth place in the 800m with his 2:00.91 time. Makayla Rice took the 10th spot in the high jump with her mark of 1.47 meters.Â
