WHEELING, W.Va. -- Point Park's Gabi Wait tied for 28th place at the MEC Spring Invitational on Monday. Wait shot +26 over the two-day tournament.

A sophomore from Oxford, Mi., Wait competed as an independent in what was Point Park women's golf's final meet of the season. She totaled 10 pars over the invitational, including seven on the second course. Wait took 20th place at the MEC Championships in October.

Point Park men's golf will close out the spring season with the Bedford Springs Invitational in Bedford, Pa., on Apr. 20 and 21. Pitt Johnstown will host the invitational.
