PITTSBURGH – Point Park women's golf standout Gabi Wait was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Tuesday afternoon, the organization announced.
 
Wait, a sophomore from Oxford, Mich., turned in a top 10 finish at the Saint Vincent Invitational back in the fall, and took 20^th at the 2025-26 MEC Golf Championships in October. She qualified as an individual for the final round of play at the MEC Championships.
 
In the classroom, Wait has a 3.91 grade-point average as a Public Relations, Advertising, and Social Media major at Point Park University. Her degree is specializing in professional social media.
