WHEELING, W.Va. -- Point Park men's golf will compete in the MEC Spring Invitational on Tuesday and Wednesday at Oglebay Park Resort.
Point Park finished sixth as a team (+67) at the MEC Championships in October, with Milo Thim finishing second overall. Thim shot even over the 54-hole course over the three days.
Leading entering the final day, Thim birdied three holes on the front nine on day three before finishing the day with a 72 (E). Thim shot a two-under par 70 on day one and shot a 73 (+1) on day two. He was one of two players to shoot under-par at the championship (-1).
In addition to Thim's second-place finish, Joshua Topper finished in 24th (+22) and Tharcisse Kalinda took 25th place (+24). All five Point Park golfers finished in the Top 30.
The MEC Spring Invitational will be the team's second meet with Tom Pakulski at the helm.
